Wildlife:  Whether it is plants and animals from the UK or from around the world, I have been interested in and passionate about wildlife for as long as I can remember.  And this has influenced the topics I choose to draw and paint.  To my way of thinking, there is so much beauty in nature and therefore I nneed look no further for my source of artistic inspiration.

 

Sumatran Tiger:  Soft Pastel on 98lb/160 gms coloured pastel paper, 406mm x 305mm, by Martin Romanovsky, 2017. I love the contrast between the warm orange coat set against the green foliage of its natural habitat.  Sadly, Sumatran Tigers are class as ‘Critically Endangered’ with perhaps less than 650 individual animals left in the wild in Sumatra, Indonesia.
