This is a large watercolour measuring 345mm x 505mm depicting a Blackcap, Blue tit and Wren in Woodland scenery featuring a rich variety of colours.  It is painted on good quality stretched watercolour paper (approx 140lb/300gms).  There is a 70mm scratch in the paper (an old war wound from a previous house move) to the right of the Blackcap which is only noticeable at very close range and thus under very close inspection hence it does not spoil or dimimish the composition. This has been digitally removed at pixel level on the limited edition prints but obviously cannot be removed from this original piece hence adds authentiticy, character and provenance.

This piece was professionally framed by Contactus Framing (Hinckley, UK)  using non-reflective artglass and double mounts.  The result is stunning.  Thank you Contactus Framing!
